The first thing we would want to do when designing our Master Bathroom is to determine exactly what our purpose for this space is.
The first place to begin any design process is to sit down with a pencil and paper and write out a plan of how the space will look in your Master Bath.
From there, you should go to your local home supply store or your local hardware store and see if you can find the items that you need to properly furnish your Master Bathroom. Most likely, you are going to find that you can use some of the small items that they have. You may also be able to find some of the larger pieces to make it look more like the “Master Bath” that you want it to look like. As long as you get the basics, you should be fine.
This includes putting in the fixtures and fittings such as the faucets, the showers, the cabinets, and the mirrors. You should also be able to figure out which color scheme or style of bathroom you want to have. This will allow you to get started on your decorating the space while keeping it uniform.
One of the biggest advantages to doing it yourself is that you will have complete control over the entire process. You will know exactly what you want and not have to spend more money to get it.
In order to fully customize your Master Bathroom and get all the benefits from the space that you have, you need to think about everything from the cabinets and fixtures to the lighting, the flooring, and the walls. All of these things will play an important role in determining the way that you decorate the space.
